Hidden Spaces Travel was born from a shared passion between my daughter, Rachael, and me—a passion for exploring this big, beautiful world together. We’ve always loved traveling to new destinations, meeting fascinating people, dining at local restaurants, and discovering museums and artisan shops that tell a story about the culture and history of a place. Some of our favorite adventures have been inspired by books we’ve read or movies we’ve watched, allowing us to step into the pages of history or onto the set of a favorite scene.
After retiring from the teaching profession, where we spent years planning, organizing, and managing events and travel for students and families, we knew we wanted to bring those same skills to a business we could truly pour our hearts into. We’ve always found joy in creating meaningful, personal experiences that families treasure, and that’s the heart of Hidden Spaces Travel.

If you are like I am, we like the spontaneity of a last minute trip, or get away. Or, sometimes, it is too much and you need some much needed down time. You would be surprised that last minute cruises through Europe or the Caribbean are not as unattainable as you may think. How am I going to pay for my dream trip? I remember asking myself that very same question. You would be surprised, that with a little advanced planning, you could actually make payments on your dream vacation, each month, so when it is time to begin your dream vacation, it is not one large lump sum. Payments are automatically drafted from your bank account, so you have one less thing to worry about!
What about all the extra excursions that I would like to experience, how much more money is that going to cost me? That is a great question! Sometimes when you pay for your cruise or book a hotel, many people do not realize that excursions to vineyards, food tastings, tours, and restaurants can become expensive. Take that concern off your plate. Have you ever been on a river cruise through Europe? Not only are many of the excursions while you are on board, are included in your cost, but there are many packages where there is a 2-3day land package included before (and/or) after you board the ship? I deal with suppliers that include all the food (with wine at each meal), they are your tour guides for your land excursions, happy hours, and entertainment are all included in your price.

It is just after the peak season, the weather is still very pleasurable, and because it is considered "off season", prices are a bit lower than
